How do I get to Provincials?
You must compete in at least two tournaments during the debate season. Ideally you want to stick with the same partner, but if one of you is unable to attend provincials, coaches can request hybrid pairings.

Everett Clayton Leslie was one of Saskatchewan's best known and respected lawyers. As the first Chancellor of the University of Regina, he brought to that office both his distinguished record of public service and a long history of involvement in university concerns. Dr. Leslie retired as Chancellor in 1977 and died in 1978.
In 1979, the provincial tournament of the Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Association was named the E.C. Leslie Tournament in honour of this man who was known for his community service. The top speaker in the Open category is awarded the E.C. Leslie Trophy. |
