Teams did not have to be competing in the Intermediate or Junior categories this year, they only have to be in either Gr. 7, 8 or 9. To apply, send an email to SEDA by Monday April 4th.
Three High School Junior teams and one Elementary Intermediate team will be selected to attend the Junior Debate Nationals in Estevan SK, May 12-15, 2011.
Junior teams are chosen based on the following: 60% of the average of their top two High School Junior scores from the regular season, and 40% of the team's score at Provincials. Based on this criterion, one team from the North, and one team from the South will be selected. The third team is the next highest overall that represents one of the four regions not already chosen.
