SEDA held fun adult invitational impromptu debates in 2004 and 2005. This event paired alumni, coaches and parents in a "magic wand" draw, with high school debaters as the judges.
This is a great event even at the club level to get parents and
other friends involved.
If you know of an adult group interested in debate, SEDA would
also be available to provide workshops and tournament support. We
have run similar days as part of community library programming and
with service groups. Book clubs, social organizations or other
interest groups are all more than welcome!
If any one is interested in hosting a similar event again, SEDA
would be thrilled.
