Dear Educators, Teachers and Administrators,

jhr (Journalists for Human Rights) and Maclean's would like to present you and your students with an opportunity for students to answer the question,

What is the single largest problem that we face today and what do youth need to do to fix it?

Write the Wrong is an annual national high school essay competition where students express their views on global and local problems.  The essays will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges and prizes will be awarded.  The winning essay will be published in Maclean's Online Magazine and with runner up essays featured on jhr's e-booklet and on CitizenShift.  For full competition and submission details please read the submission guidelines or click HERE.

Submissions will be accepted until May 13, 2011.

I encourage you to use this competition within your schools' and districts' classroom content.

Thank you so much for your time I look forward to hearing from you soon.
