Hello ,
We are writing on behalf of Debatewise; an organisation that created and runs the World Online Debate Championships. Debatewise is about to host its third WODC and we would be very grateful for your help in:
  • Spreading the word about who we are and what we do.
  • Helping us reach people who might want to participate in the third WODC.
Over 44 different countries have taken part in the first two WODCs. In addition we have had several subdivided country teams in our preliminaries. Now, we would like you to help us pump WODC participation, up a few notches. We feel that with your organisation ' s greater experience and successful debate presence, your network can help us reach a wider audience. Our selling points are: -
  • Accessibility: we are open to would-be, novice and expert debaters of all ages and backgrounds; our only requirement is Internet access.
  • To ensure the quality of our debates we find the best adjudicators we can. Many of our adjudicators have been judges for the Worlds as well as other prestigious debate comps.
  • The provision of yet another platform for your debaters/members to flaunt their debate skills.
"The Two best performances came from the teams in the final; as you would hope a final should be but rarely is"-Colm Flynn (WODC'09 finals)
Thank you for your time, we hope to hear from you soon. Any helpful
advice or constructive criticism you would like to extend to us is also
welcome.

Cheers.
