In 2004, the University of Saskatchewan began awarding a limited
number of Debate Excellence Awards to SEDA debaters who attended
the CSDF National Seminar.
Any SEDA debater who attended the Seminar and then enrolled at the
U of S received a $1,000 Provincial Award. If a SEDA debater was a
Top Speaker at the Seminar, they received an additional $2,000
National Award.

SEDA would like to thank the University of Saskatchewan for generously funding these awards, and then extending the initial investment and terms of the agreement. As of 2011, there are no longer any funds remaining to make future awards.
